Coffee and Yogurt Bar
Cup n’Spoon is a dual-function coffee shop and frozen yogurt bar that occupies the historic tower building, a structure dating back to the 1937 distillery revival. This business provides a casual, family-friendly environment that caters to a broad demographic, including students from nearby Allegheny College. Their menu encompasses espresso-based drinks, bubble tea, smoothies, and a variety of frozen yogurt toppings.
Operational hours are generally aligned with midday and evening social cycles, with special soft openings often scheduled for community events.
The Building
This reconstructed brick building was first built in 1895 and expanded in 1935. During the distillery era it served as the Drying House, an important facility used in the whiskey production process. After Prohibition ended the building was repurposed for barrel storage.
